The partnering Reconciliation Act, currently in the Senate, also contains a raft of pork barrel and tax hikes, there to fund the trillion dollar cost of nationalizing medicine. As reported by Bloomberg News today, analysis by the nonpartisan congressional Joint Committee on Taxation reveals that the bill will generate $409.2 billion in additional taxes by 2019. In addition, the Congressional Budget Office states that the bill also levies almost $69 billion more in penalties for those who fail to meet mandates to buy insurance. The Journal of Accountancy boils down some of the tax hikes and penalty fees in HR 3590 and the Reconciliation Act the highlights include: Excise Tax on Uninsured Individuals Individuals who fail to maintain minimum essential coverage will be subject to a penalty equal to $750. The fee for an uninsured individual under age 18 is one-half of the adult fee. Excise Tax on High-Cost Employer Plans The federal government would impose a 40% tax on the value of employer-sponsored health coverage exceeding certain thresholds. A great number of Americans are being forced, without their consent and at the point of a gun, to buy insurance. Not all, bbut many Americans have willingly allowed the beast in the door to set the precidence to do this thing when they allowed government to tax unwilling Americans without their consent, at the point of a gun. It always leads to the point of a gun if the person stands his ground and refuses to pay.

alright everyone ive thought abt this wholoe issue n ive now come to the conclusion THT THE WHOLE HEALTH INSURANCE IDEA IS BULLCRAP. Anyone who has enough money SHLD PAY for the doctors him/herself n ANYONE WHO CANT shld receive AID FROM TAX MONEY which is otherwise used to fuind the millitary, roads, parks etc. HOW ON EARTH can a good road or a millitary fighter in afghanistan come be4 a poor cancer patient in the country? We need to pay attention to how each representative votes—-regardless of their party. More than 30 democrats voted against the HC bill and all the Republicans. BUT we need to also vote out those who voted for the banker bailout–regardless of their party. That way we don’t throw out the babies with the bathwater, if you know what I mean.

Well your experiences with the canadian health care system might lead you to believe that but Ive not lived your life and so it might be circumstancial. However, Ive had a gp refuse to let me go see a neurologist because in his opinion he thought I should go see a psychiatrist and after I did he still refused and said I should follow up. I swictehd docs got an MRI and they found something months later. Not serious yet but it could have been. My uncle recently dies because of rationing.
