The reason why you cannot put the sunscreen on your body is because there in mineral oil in almost all tanning lotion. Mineral oil causes the tanning bed acrylics to crack much faster. Yes, you can wear sunscreen, but that defeats the purpose of trying to get a tan on your face. Try to keep the tanning to a minimum (Puh-LEEZ don't end up looking like Magda on There's Something About Mary)and cover your face with a damp washcloth or do-rag for a portion of the tanning process (if you're in there for 10 minutes, cover up for 5--if in a bed). If you're really worried about wrinkles, slather your face with sunscreen and opt for a facial bronzer instead.
