Ok, so besides the obvious, that one is for indoor tanning and one for outdoor, and that outdoor lotion may or may not have SPF, what are the differences?

Does one specifically need to buy indoor tanning lotion for a tanning booth?
I want to become a lot darker for the beginning of the school year because this summer was lame, and there was no sun out, and unfortunately im still pale. There are two really good tanning salons next to me, the Hollywood tanning salon, and the Alaskan tanning salon. I was wondering, which salon does better quality spray tanning? I don’t want to turn orange. Which one has a better deal, etc. Thanks!!!

I’ve never been to a tanning salon. But I’m thinking about going to one. I know its popular amoung us teenage girls,and all the health risks. But I’m wondering what its like inside,is it scary at first,and how long do you have to stay in for to get a nice tan? Would you suggest spray tanning,or a tanning booth? Thanks ?

I have just started indoor tanning and am finding that I am not tanning evenly. I looked on this forum and have found info on changing body positions in the tanning bed to get a more even tan. How do you do lie on your side? With the bed slightly opened? How do your goggles stay on?? I have been using them carefully w/o the strings to avoid a white line. Also I have been using an inexpensive indoor tanning lotion. Is there really a difference? I have only gone twice, 8 minutes the first time and 12 minutes the second time. The second time I got a little red, but used aloe vera gel and the red went away. Is it safe to go 15 now, seeing as I will need to switch positions a few times? How do you keep track of how long you are in each position? Also, how do roll over? Just open and turn the best you can with the goggles on? Thanks!
