SunVision tanning beds are built around an extruded alumimum and steel mainframe, offering superior sturdiness and longevity. How a tanning lamp works: [1] Electrons from the electrode travel at high speed, colliding with the electrons from a mercury atom, [2] knocking the mercury electron out of its orbit [3]. When it snaps back into place, UV rays are produced [4]. When the UV rays reach specially designed phosphor coated glass [5] visible light as well as specific UV light is produced to reach your skin for the maximum UV allowed. | The bed's "quick clip" acrylic removal system makes it easy to remove and clean the tanning surfaces. The bed is also built with a pre-wired hook-up for remote timing systems. Inside the bed, you'll find comfortable, curved tanning surfaces designed to place your body in a tunnel of light. The bed features 12, 100-Watt lamps in the canopy and bench, for a total of 24, and each highly-efficient Wolff lamp is designed to shower you with high-output UV rays. You can also choose an optional, integrated facial tanning system with a 400 Watt facial lamp and SolarMax IFT facial glass, which is included in the SunVision 24SF model. While the lamps are on, a "Superflow" internal cooling fan system keeps the lamps working at their optimum level. There's also an "after-tan" fan unit for cooling the system down. Lastly, specially glossed aluminum reflectors optimize the effectiveness of your tanning sessions. 
The SunVision Series' integrated digital timer is simple and easy to use. | The SunVision series of tanning beds come with some additional features that are designed to keep you and your family safe while you get the most glorious tan possible. In addition to a digital tanning timer that allows you to set and control the length of your tanning sessions, the bed features a security timer. The canopy and bench lamps will turn off when the timer runs out, ensuring a safe tanning experience. An optional body cooling fan is available for the bed, as well. The ETS SunVision 24S operates on 220 Volt current with a dedicated 220 Volt circuit and a 20 AMP circuit breaker. Ensure that voltage from your 220 Volt outlet is below 230 VAC. Otherwise, you may need to use a "buck booster" unit to regulate the proper voltage for the tanning bed. The bed measures 75.75 x 35 x 48 inches (LxWxH).
