I just started tanning in a tanning bed. I’m finding that my back, the part that is against the glass, thus closer to the bulbs, is getting a lot darker than the rest of my body. Does anyone have any suggestions on evening things out? Thanks!

roll over mid way
yeah i know that happens to me. i turn over half way during my session. i like the stand up ones though because whenever i do a lay down bed my sides never get color lol unless they completely surround you. maybe put some lotion on the parts of u that are harder to tan to attract it
1st thing is to talk to the person in the tanning salon. If that doesn’t get u anywhere, keep switching tanning beds or you could use the one where you stand up. I always did that because as far as I am sure that the tanning people (that work there) do not clean those beds good. You could also go into the tanning bed and when you get out have them give you a little, not too much of the spray on tan. You don’t want to look like those girls that get too much tan at once. Also in the tanning beds, you should be getting an even tan and if your not, the only reason for that is they are NOT cleaning the beds so the bulbs are dirty and can’t give you the tan you are looking to get. You could also grab a towel and use the spray that they use for cleaning and wipe the bed out yourself. But since you pay for a tan there is no reason that they don’t clean those beds really good.
Maybe when your membership is over, you might want to call the better business bureau and ask if there are any complaints against any other tanning salons in your area, if not pick one that has no complaints against it and go there. Also you might want to file a complaint against the place where you are going now. All you have to do is call the better business bureau in your state, call them and ask them to send you the form to file a complaint. It’s done by mail and you can do it without anybody knowing who you are. Good Luck be Safe and Make Sure they are CLEAN
you don’t! you should not be using a tanning bed, it is one of the most dangerous things you can do to yourself. oh you will look great right now, but down the road your are going to cause yourself a lot of problems, including cancer. forget using a tamming bed.
I alternate what side I lay on every time I go.
Next time just lay on your stomach.
?
why even go tanning. its a very good risk of dying.. skin caner..
plus you see lots of ppl who get into it and are ugly and way to orange.. try lotion or spray tan
