I have no history of skin cancer in my family, so I was wondering if just getting a small tan (from a tanning bed) for about 10 minutes will I be at a high risk of cancer?

Once or all the time?
Everything increases your chances, but in the grand scheme of things, what does that even mean?
I don’t think 10 min. in a tanning bed will increase your risk for cancer. But the sun will give you a nice tan and 15 in the sun gives you your daily dose of Vit D. A much safer way to tan.
Yes.
The amount of UV rays in a tanning bed IS greater than sitting in the sun.
Sitting in the sun will give you a dose of Vitamin D, which is actually super good for you & it’s free…and you don’t risk skin infections from unclean tanning beds, ewww.
?es..
even 10 minutes will increase the risk of getting cancer.
