    Over dramatized scare tactic!

1.Acquiring melanoma is not conditional upon using a tanning bed.
In other words, you can dev. melanoma without ever having stepped into a tanning salon.
    2. “1 in 5 Americans develop skin cancer” unless you are telling me that every 5th person in the pop. of the U.S. uses a tanning bed then this must mean that there are other ways of acquiring skin cancer-meaning tanning beds may only be a SMALL contrib.factor.

My dad developed Skin Cancer and had to have a 3 inch (now concave) section of his arm removed. Is tanning really worth it? Oompa Loompa orange is not attractive on anyone.

  7. I don’t want anyone of you to ever go through what my daughter has…. Please listen to the warnings… use spray on or sunbrushed.. but do not use tanning beds….

  9. It’s about time the word get out to our young people. I’m 36yo, and used tanning beds all through highschool & college. 3yrs ago I had to have micrographic surgery on my face to remove 2 basil cell carcinomas, which left very noticeable scars. I have to go get checked now every 6 months for new lesions. Please stay away from tanning beds, they need to be banned or put out of business!!

  10. Thanks for the very informative video.
