I need to be tanned by the 2nd of September,
so if I start going to the tanning bed on the 18th every other day for 15 minutes each time, will I be significantly darker by the 2nd?
I am semi-pale.

I have no history of skin cancer in my family, so I was wondering if just getting a small tan (from a tanning bed) for about 10 minutes will I be at a high risk of cancer?

I burn very easily, and it normally only takes about two hours in the sun with high SPF for me to fry. If I use a tanning bed for about five minutes, how much time in the sun would that be equal to?
By the way, I have to tan — I’m going to the Caribbean on a cruise over the summer, and if I don’t add a bit of color, I will probably die there; or at least be forced to stay in my room the entire time.
I don’t need a lecture, people. I know it’s dangerous. Please, just answer the question. That’s all I’m here for.

I tan in a Wolff Sunvision 28LE bed if that makes a difference. Max is 20 minutes. I’d like to know what each minute in a tanning bed is equal to in real sunlight time. The gym owner where I tan didn’t know.
