This product was paid for by myself. I wasn’t sent for free and I am not being paid to review this product!! This is my 100% honest opinion about the SunLab self tanning lotion, exfoliant & the maintainer lotion. Where to buy it: www.sunlabsonline.com Cost: $39.95 + shipping **my total was $54.65** Product rating: 8/10 **SUNLAB DOESN’T TEST ON ANIMALS OR USE ANIMAL PROTEIN THEY ARE 100% CRUELTY FREE AND ASK THAT YOU RECYCLE YOUR BOTTLES WHEN THEY ARE EMPTY*** Do I recommend this product? Yes I do if your looking for a at home self tanning system that will give you a natural sun kissed tan then this is for you. Shipping with this comp. is insane!! like $14+ for shipping. It did get on my clothes until I wiped my body down and it didn’t stain my clothes as of yet so that is good. How To Self Tan Safely

from the website www.howto.tv In recent years, a wide range of self tanning products have become available that can give you that “just been on holiday” look, without the potential long term skin damage that baking in the sun’s ultra violet rays can cause. Though generally recognised as safe, sunless tanning products, also known as self tanners can carry some risks, depending on how they’re used and applied. Most have an active ingredient called – dihydroxyacetone – DHA for short, a colour additive that reacts with dead skin cells on the outermost layer of skin and temporarily darkens the skin’s appearance. It doesn’t wash off, but fades as the dead skin cells fall off. within five to seven days. The products come in different forms – lotions, creams, gels and sprays. If you’re starting out, it’s advisable to use a gradual tanning moisturiser, or you can always mix a little self tanning lotion with your own regular body moisturiser. Here are some tips to help you achieve an even looking tan. Modern products should be able to give you a natural looking tan if they’re applied correctly and carefully . Choose a light or medium toned product, which tends to look more natural. If a product says medium to dark, or deep tan, its unlikely to suit fair skin. If you’re olive skinned, the results from using a light tan may not be too impressive. Hi there. You can find all of these items at www.solerra.com. I checked and they do sell the individual exfoliators in packs of three. Those really worked wonderfully and I got a great tan after using it as an exfoliator, but unfortunately not with the Solerra Silk Self Tanning in the tube. I really wanted this to work well. However, I will continue to purchase spray as it works really nicely for touch ups and leaves a nice bronze color. Unforunately, I couldn’t get the other tanning product to work well for me. The Drench Moisturizer was very nice. I also have the Tan Line Corrector that I haven’t tried yet and I promise to try the tanning glove to give you an update on those two products. Basically, if needed I would buy everything, but not the Sunless Silk in the tube or the Berry Smoothie Exfoliator Product. I would definitely stick with the exfoliator glove…it was awesome. Hugs, Jennifer
