Lindsey Coane talks about her experience of skin cancer from sunbed use, how she had to learn to walk again and ultimately took part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.

Megan Brinker was diagnosed with melanoma at age 27. She is a part of a frightening trend. In the United States, there has been an increase in melanoma diagnoses, particularly in young women. Siteman Cancer Center dermatologist Lynn Cornelius, MD, says strong data has linked tanning bed use to melanoma. In this “8 Ways to Prevent Cancer” video, Cornelius outlines the steps she recommends for preventing the disease.
