i totally agree
you are soo funny !
nice one sideburn (:
dawnlaris, you’re prety ignorant.
you’re body is stilling being exposed to a shitload of UV rays, you dont need to be a scientist to know that. it’s common sense which you obviously lack
girls CAN be attractive if they get a tan (ON THE BEACH)
Dude, Thanks for this video, Btw, i used a portion of this for my video… Thank you very much!
@ksmokeater
I have the articles for it. Contact me for them. I did actual research in medical research journals. Pubmed is a pretty good research engine, but requires subscription. I can give you excerpts though.
@dawnlaris
Oh, but I am.
I’ve looked up the articles from pubmed, and across journals. Radiation can result without burning. Moderate sun tanning is safer than any tanning bed use, since UVA and UVB had to go through the ozone layer, which absorbs much of the intensity of the UV rays. In fact, ozone layer is one of the reasons UVC doesn’t reach your skin.
Vitamin D ingested from milk and a balanced diet is more than enough to cover your daily needs. Contact me for articles on tanning.
are you the scientist doing the reaserch? NO. people are supid and listen to anything they here about tanning, but the thing is you get cancer from BURNING. when you go to a tanning bed is it in a controlled enviroment so you dont burn. tanning actually helps increase your vitamin D levels which can actually prevent some tyes of cancer. so stop judging and listening to all the crap about tanning! and you dont get ‘orange’ from tanning, stop over exagerating,
who are you to say that tanning beds are bad?
Lol hehe ompaloompa
lol
“i dont get why people think people being orange is attractive”
LMFAOO
I have researched it and vitamin D appears to help prevent many cancers. I tan in a level 1 bed about 15 minutes per week. It has helped a lot over the past 4 years. I work nights so I can’t get enough sun exposure. The tanning I do keeps my color and gets me the vitamin D I need. I have no signs of any skin damage and actually look healthier than when I was all pale looking. If I do get skin cancer its way more treatable than say lung or prostate cancer.
Only about 10 min of exposure to sun are required daily to receive the recommended dosage of Vitamin D,
Cancer is a mutation of the cells, as a result of melatonin being formed by your skin. When you tan, the result is the same as burning, your skin cells are mutating and forming melatonin. Though you may be less likely to burn later, regular tanning does NOT decrease your chances of developing cancer. Research it
ok u confused me on the last part is everything u sed is not true?
well, im still tanning anyway so fuck you =) i dont go like everyday and i live in canada so its the only sun i get.
and far less filtered
What about people living in sunny citys like miami, vegas, LA, dubai and so on…
I bet the midday sun in Las Vegas is 10 times more powerful than any tanning bed…..
Some people can’t get enough sun which is the best source of vitamin D which prevents many health problems. Tanning in moderation is a good alternative. Too much of anything is bad for you. Getting consistent UV exposure actually makes your skin strong which can prevent you from burning which causes skin cancer. Tanning also can prevent acne and cure some skin problems including psoriasis. People get skin cancer because they over do it. This info is false.
screw the scientist and cancer! I want to be tan and i get in my everyday!!!
say orange again!! =]!!!
Just like smoking.
here is a REAL fact for you….there is NO solid link between moderate tanning and any kind of cancer period. Only theory . So you can shove your ” tanning beds = cancer” Look it up in actual medical research journals… not Wikapedia… do i agree that over tanning that causes skin burning can be bad for … yes. im not an idiot.
Dude, Do your research before you put a video up. You have made a fool of yourself. I’m a hazmat tech specializing in radiation and chemical and tox- medic first response. Tell you what you choose a life of moderate tanning in a bed , one dose of arsenic, or a dose mustard gas….choose. By the way … in that same “group 1″ category is beer and salted fish. think about it. Jornalists have no scientfiic knowledge .just looking for the big story to increase there rating.
im already tan im philapino (dont know how to spell it)
