Anyone realize the origin for the word tan? A tanner used to be someone who made leather from the hides of animals. Modern tanners are people who make leather out of their own skin by sitting out in the sun all day or by using tanning beds. Honestly, I can’t believe this has caught on. People who tan have such gross, rough, and leathery skin. Why do this to yourself? Visually, it looks ugly too… My grad was full of oompa loompas with bleached teeth. Seriously freaky.
