I go about once a week, just to keep from getting pasty white. Spray tans obviously don't have as many health risks as the beds do, but I think they tend to look fake, so I like going to a tanning bed better. It's not scary at all... if you don't like the lay down beds, most tanning salons have stand up ones that aren't as claustrophobic. How long you go in depends on your natural skin tone..
