I have an interview at a tanning salon. I usually wear black pants and a cute top with flats to my interviews, but i thought since this particular tanning salon is laid-back ( my guess from how the employees dress) that maybe i should wear something a little less formal. Any ideas or suggestions?

I don’t think the place should change your clothing style. It’s an interview, your trying to be hired. You should make a good impression by showing up professional.
It’s always better to over dress for a job interview than it is to come under dressed. If you wear something too casual, the manager may perceive it as you not being very professional, which in turn could cause you not to get the position. Even if the dress code is very casual, you never know what kind of impression the hiring manager expects you to make. I think you should wear what you described. It sounds really nice and professional. Better safe than sorry, right? LOL Best of luck to you on your interview!!!

Kdub, The rude comments are not needed by those silly boys. Black pants & a nice top will look good.
Maybe even a very low top to show those beautiful puppies off would help.
