i dont think its more ineffective but its not necessary.
You do not want to load your body with more lotion.
When putting tanning lotion on–it is just like putting lotion on when you get out of the bath tub. You don’t put on too much!
The important thing is to use a “quality” lotion and apply the lotion evenly.
